The Charlotte Coastal Region has easy access to two deep water ports, the Port of Bayside and the Port of Saint John.

The Port of Bayside is located within the Charlotte Coastal Region in the Bayside Industrial Park just 10 kilometres (6 miles) from St. Andrews and 15 kilometres (9 miles) from the US/Canada border. It is a year-round deep water port which offers a cold storage terminal and dry storage warehouse facilities. This port handles a wide variety of goods, including specialty and cold storage cargo, as well as seafood products and gravel. The Port of Saint John is located in Saint John, within a one-hour drive of all points in the Charlotte Coastal Region. It is an ice-free, modern, world class, deep water port with deep approaches that operates year round. This port is one of the busiest ports in Canada handling about 25 million metric tonnes of cargo annually. It operates 24 berthing facilities and has a Roll-on/Roll-off wharf. The Port of Saint John handles containers, forest products, and bulk cargo including petroleum products, salt and potash.
